At AtlasMR, we are committed to safeguarding your online privacy, whether you are a prospective nurse user, a job candidate, a potential recruiter, an employer or a casual site visitor. This page constitutes a binding agreement between Atlas Medical Resources Limited (“AtlasMR”, “We” or “Us”) and our site visitors (“You” or “Your”) regarding online privacy and the use of personal information.

In certain areas throughout this site, you may be asked to disclose “personal information”. For the case of this privacy policy, “personal information” can be defined as including (but not limited to) information full name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, nationality, educational background, and prior work experience. “Personal information” is generally retrieved through our online application process, or through the posting of a CV/resume which we enter into our database.

Information gathered from our website will only be viewed by designated AtlasMR staff, our clients who have expressed the need to employ nursing staff and other select, applicable parties.

Remember - the decision to provide information is always optional. We also accept applications through regular mail, fax, and telephone.

Use of personal information

AtlasMR may disclose user statistics in order to describe our services to potential advertisers, partners and other third parties for lawful purposes. AtlasMR employees will be able to view your personal information on a “need to know” basis. Personal information about you as an individual is never sold or distributed for commercial purposes without your permission. By posting a CV into our database, you agree to have your personal information accessed by third parties including (but not limited to) potential recruiters.

AtlasMR will use your information to contact you for clarification and/or discussion of potential job opportunities. AtlasMR may also contact you with offers and information that we feel may be relevant to you and your job search.

Remember, this privacy policy only covers information that you disclose to us via registering, filling out an application, and/or posting a cv/resume to our database. We are not responsible for information you disclose to others through our site. This may include (but is not limited to) information disclosure on the Discussion Forum, message boards, chats, personal ads, or in our CV database. We are not responsible for their privacy policy (or lack thereof).

In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, we will never knowingly request or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without parental permission.

Third-party hosting

AtlasMR contracts with a third-party to host and maintain its website. Any and all information you submit is placed and on a computer server maintained by this third-party. By disclosing information to AtlasMR, you acknowledge and accept that your personal information will be stored on a computer server outside the control of AtlasMR. You agree that AtlasMR has no liability for personal information stored on this external computer server.

Other ways we collect information from you

Our system automatically logs data from all users who access our website. This information is necessary to increase our understanding of how visitors use our site, allowing us to create the most efficient and user-friendly online experience possible. User information, including (but not limited to) the following, may be collected from visitors viewing our site: IP addresses, Cookies, and Geographic location (to provide local content where deemed necessary). Our server tracks and monitors the IP addresses of every computer that accesses our site. An IP address is a number automatically to your computer when you access the internet. IP addresses allow for communication between computers and servers. AtlasMR logs IP addresses for troubleshooting and systems administration. IP addresses are not obtained for any other reason and are not shared.

This site features links to external sites that we feel provide useful information to nurses and other interested parties. The privacy policy on linked sites may be different from our own. Please use discretion when submitting “personal information” to sites powered by an organisation other than AtlasMR. We are not responsible for how these sites choose to utilise any “personal information” you disclose. Also be aware that other websites may use Cookies and we do not control and are not responsible for such activities.
